11 to 16 Nov 2018 – Barcelona Resilience Week; Barcelona, Spain

Drawing on the parallel events taking place in Barcelona that same week (Smart City Expo World Congress, C40 Regional Meeting, among others) Barcelona Resilience Week will showcase a wide array of activities and initiatives from across the world that are making our cities more resilient and strengthening the development and humanitarian agendas.

Barcelona Resilience Week will gather key international actors, together with city representatives, governments, NGOs and innovators to share tried and tested approaches to addressing urban challenges and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals, New Urban Agenda, Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and Paris Agreement.

16 Nov 2018 – Life Primes Final Conference and Adele’s Daisy theatrical representation; Bologna, IT

The conference of Life Primes (Preventing flooding risk by making resilient communities) project aims to share the main results obtained and the experiences made on the territory in terms of good practices and future prospective to increase the resilience of communities in dealing with emergencies such as floods. In the program is scheduled the theatrical representation of the Adele’s daisy, a show on climate change which will be followed by a comparison with the public on this theme.

7 to 11 Oct 2019 – 13th Ecocity World Summit; Vancouver, Canada

The Ecocity World Summit addresses the way humanity builds its home — its cities, towns and villages. The aim is to unite people through a new way of living on the planet that provides the best possible cities while enhancing, not destroying, the biosphere.

From October 07-11, 2019 the Ecocity World Summit will be held in Vancouver, known to be one of the most beautiful and greenest cities. The conference will be hosted by the British Institute of Technology (BCIT) and held in the West Building of the Vancouver Convention Centre.
