Ian Wainwright 

Ian Wainwright is a Director at Future City Logistics, an independent consultancy that works to create safer, cleaner and more efficient freight and logistics.

Having a degree in Town Planning, Ian worked for 18 years in the logistics industry, covering topics such as supply chain reorganization, depot start-ups and closures, and trade union negotiation. He spent 11 years working for Transport for London (TfL) where he managed the programme encouraging operators and businesses to revise their delivery activity during the 2012 Olympic Games. He was also Head of the Freight and Fleet Team at TfL, managing the programme to maximise the safety of freight activity and build on the lessons from the Games.
